you begin to either design your own Web site or publicize your targeted
business, you have to first understand what realistic Internet profit goals
really consist of. I've had to deal many times in my profession with potential
clients who insist that gaining visibility, making money, bringing in loads
of new customers, etc., are miracles that will occur simply because they
have decided to engage a person to create their Web site or sell their
products. After all, the media is replete with announcements of

New Way of Business! Make money on the Internet! Only send us your $65.00
and we'll publicize your site to thousands of search engines! And spam
a bazillion uninterested people as well!"
All
the recommended steps were taken - why don't the results show?
The
rock-honest truth is that for the majority of sites, profits and recognition
will not occur within a day. Period. Building up a successful targeted
niche Internet presence takes time, patience, and creativity, not to mention
a skillful design of the pages and copy themselves. This doesn't mean that
in the long run, revenues and interest won't start to flow in!
Think
of your Web site as a calling card or storefront. You have a brilliant,
