Which really is NOT thrilling me.
Let’s just say, I had a great run during the morning but everything smooshilated in the late afternoon, courtesy of my youngest.
Being Mom, of course, involved a huge amount of energy in dealing with it all. 🙁

Why?
Well, I’m finding that as I am growing…. my interests are changing.

Well.
Let’s take a moment and review.
First off, yesterday saw all sorts of cryptocurrencies crashing.
As in, Bitcoin lost more than 25% of its worth.
Its not worrying me, as for the past 3 years, January has always been lousy for cryptos.
But you can see bunches of folks panicking and selling off.
For me, I try NOT to sell off when things go low, I just hold.
Plus I also bought into a paid crypto trading group so I can educate myself BEFORE doing anything.
But I’ll share more on that later on.
Elsewhere in Lingland, I got to the gym (yay!) and also took the kid out for various/sundry thingees.
Oh, and did you know…
I’m the #2 affiliate on WarriorPlus? I wrote:

Couple of things I’d like to share.
One, you might have noticed I am NOT one of the big-name product vendors.
I do NOT do the 2 week launch announcements/etc (and yep, I do know I need to get ‘way better about alerting affiliates!).
I have internalized I am NOT my list. Stuff that might leave me less excited than decaf might thrill and power up ‘way more folks on said list… so I do not judge what makes people decide to buy or not.
The secret to my success is very simple…
It’s consistency and taking ownership of both my successes and failures, and learning from both (lots of learning, I might add).
I know my strengths (email marketing, product creation, coffee adoration) and build my business TO those strengths. I learned ‘way back when dinosaurs were roaming the land… doing something different will result only in dropped income. Been there, done that, designed the Tshirt, sold it in on eBay, built the affiliate program on WarriorPlus and and and….
I found what works for *me*.
Your takeaway?
Find what works for *you*.
Don’t get discouraged by the hype and froth and possibly-at-times-massively-overwhelming-waves-of-blinding-testosterone that you might see in the industry.
Sure, there ARE push-button riches but said riches are built OFF of a rock-solid base (your connection with your list, your products you create, etc.etc.etc.). When you have a great list and said great list gets to know you as a friend instead of a marketer… *that’s* one way push button riches can develop. (Another way, of course, is to take a time machine back to 2004-2005 and break the Google Code and earn 1K/day via affiliate marketing by writing that awesomely cool niche site generator in languages from the Dark Ages (aka ksh)…. or perhaps visiting 2013 and listening to Brad Gosse and buying bitcoins, but I digress).
The thing is, anyone can duplicate what I’ve achieved.
It takes time, dedication, the ability to view failures as stepping stones to success, mind you….
But you *can* see the same success.
My current IM success was re-started back in 2011 when I returned to this space… and I haven’t looked back since.
And if you’d like some excellent folk to follow, consider these (by no means is the list complete):
Dennis Becker because Dennis! Besides being my partner since March of 2017, the plain fact is he’s one of the most trustworthy, reliable, utterly grand peoples on the fact of this planet. He runs a nifty IM group at www.facebook.com/groups/theiminsidetrack/ – come join!
Marlon Sanders because he’s one of the true legends of our industry. I remember following him ‘way back in the early 2000s (later on, I riffed off of Adsense back in 2006 to create web.archive.org/…/2…/http://www.multiplesense.com:80/ – you’ll see I monetized it via Marlon’s products too). His super group is at www.facebook.com/groups/marlonsanders/ ).
Paul Myers because he’s also a brilliantly tremendous human bean and writes the most *awesome* newsletter imaginable. His site is talkbiz.com/ and his engaging pub can be found at www.facebook.com/groups/paulscorner/ .
Ben Martin who has simply taken control of his future and writes/polarizes his audience on his takes from everything from coffee (well, he MUST have written about coffee at least once) to marketing to crypto-currency to just about everything. Very insightful individual for someone so young – definitely follow him as well.
Michael Cheney who is the King of Infotainment that *delivers*. I’ve been a member now of his 7 Figure Franchise since March of last year and have seen everything he’s delivered – quality through and through.
Tiffany Rae Lambert is an entrepreneur and parent who redefines positive goGetEm attitudes. Highly inspirational! Her group is at www.facebook.com/groups/learninternetmarketingfree/ and her blog is at tiffanylambert.com/blog/ – make sure you add that blog to your Feedly dashboard. She writes ’em as she calls ’em and she also overdelivers on the products she creates (mainly PLR).
Arun Chandran is one of THE most polarizing marketers I know… and you never have to guess his take on, well, anything he chooses to write about! His newsletter is also rather breath-taking too, sign up for that over at www.flaminghotplr.com/ . .
Colin Theriot is the All-Powerful Glorious Overload of www.facebook.com/groups/cultofcopy/ and is another individual who could never be accused of anything wishywashy. Plus, he knows about Doc Savage – how can you pass up anyone so enlightened? The man writes like the Prophets sing (points to whomever gets that particular sci-fi reference. 
)
James Sides used to be in marketing, and then did game development methinks, and now does Crypto currency over at www.facebook.com/groups/cryptoquickstart/ . I am educating myself bigtime in his group and I highly recommend following him/joining the group as well if that’s your interest.
Andy Brocklehurst who is really simply the minion of The Glorious Gizmo (his own Beak of Doom). I learned from Andy the possibilities cheatsheets represented back in 2014 and suffice it to say… I’ve never looked back. He calls them as he sees them and his integrity is difficult to match in our industry.
And if you want to beef up security knowledge and the like, check out Judy Kettenhofen Nathan Briggs Paul Irvine who know all security goodies inside out (like why you NEVER want to put “rm -rf *” in the background… in the root directory… when you’re logged in as root. Not that I *ever* did that in Bell Labs in 1989. Gnope!).
There are bunches more folk but its getting close to 2:30am August 2019, so I’ll wind down here.
