Good morning!
Today is Tuesday morning and get this – I had
the most amazing date with the husband yesterday.
Yep, we went…. *shopping!* *Without* the kids!
🙂 The best part about it? Keeping the romance
live in one’s marriage – you do NOT have to do
the fancy $100/plate dinner night out – we
ended up at Costco because I had an insane
craving for their chocolate dipped vanilla ice
cream.
Now, keep in mind – the husband has been asking
for me to indulge in this for ages (I don’t generally
eat unhealthy). So finally I agreed (yes!); we ventured
to the orderPerson, filled with visions of chocolately
goodness cascading down paradise imagined….
And I was informed they discontinued it.
So the husband got me lobster bisque instead. 🙂
Still, though, we had such a grand time laughing
about it all! And it highlighted again to me – romance
is simply how you choose to enjoy and maximize
each other’s company.
