On the right path – Lamborghinis, cluelessness, advanced karate and more

I’m pretty thrilled to announce that yesterday, I managed to get not only my kids to advanced karate, but me too!

This is noteworthy for me for several reasons. One, my insane workpace for the past few weeks saw me missing karate (and my beloved kendo as well). I made a promise to myself earlier that as well as taking care of my kids and my husband and my work, I’d take care of me too. And I kept my promise!

Unfortunately, I did have to miss a possible Brazilian Juijitsu class today; had to attend a school play instead (which truly is much more important). Still, though, I have it in my mind that I’ll get to the next class next week. And I WILL be awake enough this evening to take adult self-defense – I have promised this to myself.

Workwise, I wrote:

I also turned off some blogs I was neglecting and will consider how to to rebuild those in the future. The fun never ends! 🙂
