And how is life treating you? Over here in LingLand, I confess to life being rather peachy indeed – did a great morning martial arts workout at home and wrote some pretty useful chapters in my latest and greatest epic Work of Art. And of course, the coffee has been perking up the day as well!
But I digress. 🙂
Today I’d like to talk about one of the best gifts you can give your children – that of learning ancient Latin.

Didja know, one of me kids is now taking Ancient Latin?
Yes indeed it’s true! And because Latin (and ancient Greek, which also rocks) is the basis of at least 74,392 words in the English vocabulary….once you know Latin, you have an awesome foundation for understanding the complexities of Western languages.
Can you imagine a better gift to give your children? After all, you don’t want them to make the horrendous grammatical error like you see below:
