TGIF!
Okay. True. It AIN’T Friday, it’s Thursday, but as I was a math major in college, I maintain the right to boldly define my own reality! Ha ha!
Can you tell it’s been a loooong day? 🙂
Let’s see, where to start. First off, this evening will see me dyeing my hair green and gold!
Why is this, you might wonder? Are you mulling over to yourself, Jeepers Barb, are you finally embracing your inner fashion goddess?
No no, not that at all. However! Today Honorable Daughter 2 is going to be a tree in her school musical (the Jungle Book) and she decided it would be spiffy neato beyond belief if she dyed her hair for that.
Now, let me pause for a second and reveal the following deep dark secret:
When I was that age, I NEVER would have had the self-confidence to be so different and creative. Humph, back then, I was lucky to stop apologizing for my existence!
So when HD2 told me that, my reaction was, WOW. We’re talking self-confidence I never had back then..but possess in abundance now! So I decided I’d do the same thing to support her…and then of course, her brothers clamored to have their hair dyed too.
Can’t wait to see what the other folks at karate today think! 🙂
Which brings me to another point! I shared my idea with some karate parents yesterday, and to a one, they all said,
"Can’t you support your daughter in OTHER ways?"
This, my friends, was always what I had feared at an early age – people "disapproving" or thinking I SHOULD stand within the box. But now…hah, now, whatever I can do for my family I will do happily and with great joy indeed!
So we’ll see how it turns out! And yes indeed, I WILL post pictures. 🙂
In other news, I was most productive indeed yesterday – I wrote:

I also did a bleep-load of hacking to prepare my Income Fitness community site – lots of vbulletin mods to add, lots of settings to tweak and more. But it’s coming along nicely indeed!
Oh, and I found a 9 pound pork shoulder roast priced at 69 cents/pound at the supermarket – the mooses are eating well today! 🙂
Today, alas, saw me crash and burn for an hour or so after I took the above-mentioned Mooses on a moose playdate with Nina, the local Siberian Husky. Nina’s mom has a great fenced-in backyard so all three mooses went bananas zooming around at the speed of light. End result – some very exhausted 4 legged beasties indeed!

Income Fitness community and hacking at the speed of light…
and folks think I have no fun NOR no life. HAH!
But I digress. 🙂
Let me ask you. Do you offer any affiliate products to your
site readers? If so…chances are….some of the product developers
will give you suggested copy you can use in your posts, your
email, etc.
And while that’s more swimming than the Olympics in the summer,
it can REALLY backfire if you get seduced by the Stupid Copy
Syndrome.
