BIG changes coming down the road for making money!

Howdy!

One of the best things about making one’s living online is that one can tackle different ideas as their time comes.

I’ve been wanting to create a membership site now for quite awhile!  And methinks the time is now.

And here’s why.

I do love teaching and helping people become successful online.  But over the past few months now, I’ve seen what James at Men With Pens has said:

…But blogging doesn’t always bring you sales. And it ain’t a business if you aren’t making money.

Free Stuff Doesn’t Sell

You’ve most likely read that thrice-weekly posts, free downloads and viral reports are a must-haves. Give it away! Free is good! Free brings success!

Well, did you ever stop to think and ask, “What kind of success?”

Blogging does achieve some measure of fame, notoriety and credibility, if what you write about is good. Good content and rising fame shows potential customers you’re worth hiring.

But loyal blog readers who help you get famous aren’t your customers. They come back day after day for what you give them already – free stuff. If you’re giving it away for nothing, nothing is exactly what you get back in sales…MORE….

 What. He. Said.

Now, I have 12+ years of making money online plus 10+ MORE years of computer science/sysadmin/teaching/etc. experience under my bra. 

And that kind of knowledge….well, it’s valuable.  As in lots!

So I’m going to treat it with the respect its due…and create a membership site.  Probably two of them; one for common sense marketing, and another for recruiter marketing (the very first niche in which I became a master).

I’m currently looking into membership sites and have narrowed it down to

• RAP Membership
• WishList WP Membership

I also have some nifty ideas about what to add and how to showcase myself as unique (does the word, Income Fitness, ring a bell?    )

But I’ll be sure to keep you posted!  In the meanwhile, what would YOU like to see in such a membership?  Over-delivering has always been my trademark…so I’m quite open to astounding one and all again.
