Morning!

Oh wow, what…a….weekend!!

To say it was character-building to the extreme is like saying the sun produces a wee bit of light.

Wow.

So glad I survived it!!

But the good news is….

(and I hope you're sitting down for this)

I gave myself permission….to be *me*.

Here's what happened.

Over the past month, I modified my business model – instead of producing 2 products a week, I dropped it down to 1 product every two week.  The idea was I was supposed to use the extra time to build up affiliates who would be interested in marketing it.

And that's a grand idea indeed!

Except….

It …. just isn't *me*.

It really isn't.

See, while I enjoy networking and all that….honestly, I enjoy even more simply doing what I do best (writing great products), selling them and building me list.

Maybe in a few months or so, I'll be "big" enough to get the big-names on my launch….

But right now, I much prefer doing things *my* way.

Which is why yesterday, when I saved over $100 via a rather nifty secret code I found online, I took and hour and whipped out:

Honestly, I made it a challenge for me – could I go from non-existence to On Sale during Super Bowl Sunday?

The answer….yes!

• And my list is now continuing to grow. 
  
  

What this showed me was…

It's okay to try things out.

It really is.

But sometimes…going with what works best for *you*….is what makes the most sense.

Thus tell yourself today that it IS okay to be you!

Because honestly…that just simply cannot be replaced.

Sometimes, we're really immersed in life.

And at those times, we can become so laser-focused that we miss some pretty obvious common-sense ideas.

• Personally, I think life can be viewed…as a petri dish 

When you're focusing on how life/the world treats you, you're living in the moment in said petri dish…but when you give yourself permission to step back and see what drives others to their actions, you gain a far broader understanding of what's *truly* influencing your existence.

This gifts you with insight you've never had before.

For me, in hindsight, I didn't have the ability to both see *and* internalize all of that last year.

I do now…and hope always to retain this hard-won ability. I never want to go thru such things again but I will admit – the long-term benefits far do outweigh the admittedly short-term-but-oh-so-agonizing, well, short term.

Oh, and wondering what I'm talking about?  I wrote a bit about it over at

I didn't share *all* that was going on with me, but it does give you a clue. 

Thus today, tell yourself that to truly succeed in life, you really do need to give yourself permission to embrace the painful lessons that your guardian angel inflicts upon you.

The thing is….

When we actually give ourselves permission to make it so, we discover that what everyone else thought was impossible….

• Was merely waiting for you to fling yourself boldly into it and craft a hard-won success!

You see, people generally always have your best intentions at heart.  And when they tell you you're a freakin' idjut for operating outside the box, they really do mean to save you pain.

But….

What's true for them isn't necessarily the scriptures for you!

Thus, tell yourself today that you will be open to your inner spirit when it seductively whispers to you…

"Hey!  This really *might* work…..go for it!"

The results might beef up your Paypal balance to the Nth degree.

Sometimes….we want to do it all.

And sometimes, reality kicks us in the teeth!

The sad fact is, there *is* only 24 hours in the day.

And honestly, using some of *those* hours for yourself is one of the wisest things you can do!

I was reminded of this 3.4 minutes ago, when I realized…

I do NOT have the time available to keep my Skype group going.

So, I decided to ask Coby if I could recommend my folks join his group instead (it's rockin' massively along!).

See….

I firmly believe in colleagues, not competitors; the Internet is huge enough that we all can make money and all help one another out.

Apply this to yourself, okay?

Take a good long look at what time you have available…and what you want to accomplish.

And if you realize you're up the proverbial paddle without a creek….reach out for help and consolidate your business.

Your bottom line will thank you for it.

Sometimes, we have our preconceived notions as to what's truly important in life.

• It could be seeing our business become a success!
• It could be scoring a date with that awesomely hot MOTAS (member of the appropriate sex)!
• It could be grabbing that last crucial Tickle Me Elmo doll that is flying off the shelves for your kids for Christmas.

But seriously, folks…

I honestly think we're all missing the boat with the above, myself included.

What's truly important in life is something else.

And it's this.

You must be able to look at the person in the mirror…and be proud of whom you see looking back.

Certainly, your family and loved ones are tremendously important to you as well.

But unless *you* love who you yourself are…you will never be able to give those priceless people what they sincerely deserve.

Thus today, take a long hard look at *yourself*.

Are you proud of the *you* your life's choices have caused you to become?

If so, yay!

And if not, that's okay too…so long as you take steps to honor yourself and transform yourself into what you're honestly capable of evolving into.

It's a hero's journey, true….but one of the best you can take.
