And how is your weekend treating you? Over here in LingLand, things are most interesting indeed!
Lessee, where to start. First, the magnificent Sears Repair came by, fixed the washing machine…but alas, it broke again later that day. :( Methinks there is something besides gremlins going on with it that needs to be addressed, so they’re heading out here again this Tuesday. Joy! I’m still rather impressed by their customer service, mind you, so I’m positive they’ll be solving the issue pronto.

I just finished designing a rather magnificent presentation for a client, and in the process taught myself bleeploads of nifty animation techniques!
But not only that…did you know you can create YouTube videos from Powerpoint as well?

It all started on Friday night after karate - my husband made me a yummy lobster dinner (and cleaned up too!) that was quite delectable indeed. On Saturday, I took the kids to kata class and relaxed with the husband; very low-key and no-stress enjoyment was discovered there!

Blazingly BURNING the Candle at 47 Ends

And you can tell how zonked I am as it’s almost 6pm tonight.
I think it’s definite…I’m burning the candle at all possible ends and then some.
I had one hell of a wakeup call at Adult Karate yesterday - my joints were so stiff (yes, I’ve been bad and have been slacking off on me exercising) that I couldn’t complete the sparring.

Yes, it’s definitely true….even I crash and burn every now and then.
Sunday I finally gave myself permission to (get this!) take a break from the intense pace I’ve been, ahem, enjoying and rest (that is, rest after joyfully frolicking in the searing heat of yesterday).

Morinng! Yesterday was yet another day in which I was too zonked to update my site in the evening (and not only that - I dramatically failed yet again to post at my three other blogs too!).

Notice how my Friday post was written Saturday morning!
Didja notice yet? Huh? Huh? Didja?
That’s because by the end of yesterday, I was sooo exhausted (all together now, "How exhausted were you Barbara?") that I simply walked away from the computer to give myself a well-deserved rest.

Loving children, hacking vBulletin, Worshiping Coffee and more
You know, there are times in life where you can just say to yourself, I done realy good-like as a parent!
Today was one of those days. Over the weekend, I had taken my kids to Medieval Times and bought them both a light-up flashing sword. Now, I cautioned Honorable Boy 1 and Honorable 2 that they’re NOT indestructible…and if they smashed the swords against the floor, they’d probably break.
"Jeepers mom", they responded (in their cute little biggle minds), "I think I’ll gleefully ignore you!"
So this morning Honorable 2 came running to me and said, "Honorable Boy 1 broke his sword so I told him, that’s okay, you can use mine and I’ll use the broken one!"

Today was yet another exciting venture into the Hacking To The Speed of Light realm!
I’m earlobe-deep into pulling together the Virtual Coach Income Fitness Communities. While certainly it will be nice getting tons of forum members and the like, I’ll also be using it to promote my own resources as well.
That means I’m NOT going to angst over making it super popular in a short amount of time…instead, I’m going to enjoy the ride it offers me, and trust that once others see how it benefits me, join as well.

Building the Income Fitness Community and Shunning Sleep!
Oh what a night. And a day! And I am ever so ready to call it "Time for Mom to take a breather. :) "
You see, in my neverEnding quest to walk the walk I talk, I’ve decided to take all of the knowledge I’ve gathered over the past decade and brand it as Income Fitness. The main site for that (at this moment, that is) is my flagship site, Virtual Coach.com (10 years old today!).
