Today is the 4th of July, a time in America where evening fireworks light up the skyline, people enjoy the outdoor activities and peace and tranquility reign freely across the nation.
Oh, and the time where bunches of kids and adults alike blow themselves apart as well.
A zany not-exactly-overprotective mom myself (my typical reaction to my kids being pummeled at karate, for example, generally is, "why didn’t you ask for more?"), I live in an area where fireworks are happily illegal. I still do have lazy hazy memories of sparklers when I was a kid ("Mom! Saturday Kata, Climbing and more

And how is your weekend treating you? Over here in LingLand, things are most interesting indeed!
Lessee, where to start. First, the magnificent Sears Repair came by, fixed the washing machine…but alas, it broke again later that day. :( Methinks there is something besides gremlins going on with it that needs to be addressed, so they’re heading out here again this Tuesday. Joy! I’m still rather impressed by their customer service, mind you, so I’m positive they’ll be solving the issue pronto.

I just finished designing a rather magnificent presentation for a client, and in the process taught myself bleeploads of nifty animation techniques!
But not only that…did you know you can create YouTube videos from Powerpoint as well?

Mother’s Day Magnificence, Star Trek and more!

I’m thrilled to report that mine was superSplendiforous indeed!
It all started on Friday night after karate - my husband made me a yummy lobster dinner (and cleaned up too!) that was quite delectable indeed. On Saturday, I took the kids to kata class and relaxed with the husband; very low-key and no-stress enjoyment was discovered there!

You know, I STILL have to build Who Hired Bob. Haven’t yet done that, wah!
But I digress! I have simply splendiforous news to share!
But before I dive ear-first into that, let me first reveal the wonders of new ideas being bounced around at the forums.

And all because of the miracles of Twitter!
In other news, family is peachy, mooses are peachy, Twitter Budgies are peachy….life is peachy! To add more humor to the forums, I’m thinking of letting my MIT-educated Twitter Budgies and Mooses join the forums too…but I’ll have to think of a logical way to introduce them. Specify my forums are so pet-friendly we want to hear from them too?

Twitter to the Rescue of Wicked Washing Machine Perils!
My gosh, what a day.
I now know another superb benefit to Twitter! But before I reveal that, let me regale you with the heart-pounding excitement that made up my past 24 hours.
First off, I’ve been up since 3am. Yes, I know….silly me! But hey, I do get some of my best work done in the wee hours of the morning, including the truly scintillating post:

Eeek, no new posts…but one HELL OF A MAKEOVER!!!!
Morning all, she said at 8pm in the evening,
I’ve been a bad bad blogger! I’ve been sooo consumed by fine-tuning my Income Fitness Forums (you would NOT BELIEVE the number of changes I implemented, I’m all hacked out today!) that I neglected posting to Virtual Coach or to Affiliate Brainery or to…..and I even didn’t get a chance to update Who Hired Bob as well!
WAH!
But! The spiffy neato news is that my make money forums look really, well, incredibly magnificent beyond all mortal comprehension!
Really, they do. They really do! You see, I had just about finalized the site when Honorable Daughter 1 took a look at it and then drawled:
"Mom, that picture there…it’s SOOOOO 1990s!"
The pain, the agony, the truth. :) So! I spent an hour or so tweaking up the header to what you see now. And I’ll admit, she was 100% correct - the new layout is far superior.
Soon I’ll have to start promoting it (which reminds me, why not check it out yourself and see how it will benefit you? I pulled together a great list of goodies over HERE)….but right now, I feel I can finally take a break and (get this!) sleep.
In other news, did I mention I hacked my forums?
You know, in thinking about it….that’s really all I did today. Oh, and yes, I did take the kids out to go shopping for their Spring Musical - one must bless the gods of the Dollar Store for Hawaiian goodies!
Tomorrow I have a Moose Playdate for me two moosies and that should be enjoyable as well. Now that my forums are up, I have to tackle actually writing the specific product, Income Fitness….but that’s for another time indeed.
