Scardy Chicken Pox Begone!

hearts Scardy Chicken Pox Begone!Morning!

Today was quite the amazing collection of coffee-fueled adventures!

First business:

Super conversations were generated over at

and of course our Friday cyberbrekkie:

But family-wise, wow!

First off, Honorable Daughter II does NOT have chicken pox

Yay!  Turns out to be bites from playing outside.  More Yays!  I packed the whole clan into the van to see the doctor…I’m quite relieved it’s just plain normal non-icky stuff.

So all the kids went back to school.  I kept them out in the morning because IF it had been that lovely virus, the other kids could possibly be carrying it without showing it.

Next, the husband decided that because I’ve been working too long, he made me a lobster dinner in the evening in preparation for a Mother’s Day weekend.  Wasn’t that sweet?  I’m very lucky indeed; he then cleaned up the dishes and we had a great time chatting about the day’s activities.

Work never really is all that is about life – family trumps everything.  :)

And that was me Friday,

Barbara Ling
