Are you toying with affiliate marketing for your nice?

If so, do you know the number one way that you'll *never* get your commissions?

It's easy!  It's when people steal your commission from you.

Think about your typical affiliate link

If it's clickbank, it might be something like http://richhermit.lingstar.hop.clickbank.net .

Immediately, a link like that shows your visitor that Hey!  This is a Clickbank product!  I can log into clickbank on my own volition, grab the affiliate link, and *buy* it through my affiliate link!

Sad, eh?

Another lie about getting affiliate commissions is when they're run by unscrupulous affiliate managers, who just somehow *forget* you're entitled to the monthly checks.

Alas, it does happen.  :(

One way, of course, to prevent affiliate commission theft is to cloak your links.

How to easily cloak your Clickbank and other affiliate links for free

is an article I wrote that should help you fix that issue pronto.  :)

About non-paid affiliate commissions, here are some good ideas too:

Unless you're going thru the big networks, or the affiliate marketing product in question is powered by Rapid Action Profits, do yourself a favor and always check on your affiliate profit status.

It might be you're leaving money on the table…big time.

Grow strong,

Of course, the affiliates can also steal your money from you and just not pay you even though those commissions are good and legitimate. That seems to keep happening to me lately with Commission Junction affiliates, and I don’t like it one bit.

I have heard a lot of promises like “You always get your commissions” or “You will earn alot”. I hope so..But what is really important before putting some affiliate on your site is to of course make sure you have a lot bunch of visitors already. By that you can have a big possibility of earning in affiliate.

Barbara, I just started an affiliate program for our store and I was searching for tips and suggestions to make it successful when I found your blog. My goodness it is a visual treat!

Your little touches, like the paint brush strokes under the word ‘thank you’ that really stand out. I’m impressed. How many revisions and improvements did it take to come up with this look?

I’m going to add you to me RSS reader and twitter you to my list. Most of my readers are mommy bloggers, they will love your site, it has a lot of great articles plus some good resources for them.
