Do you breathe every now and then?
Okay, true, that’s like asking:
Do you check FB every now and then?
Chances are, as Startfleet recently recommended them for inter-department file-sharing, you own 1 (if not 3485) FB accounts.
Now!
Got to your profile page.
Hover over ‘Friends’.
After all your friends load, look to the right of the screen and you should behold an adorable teeny weeny pencil icon.
Click on that, and then click on Privacy.
You’ll see the following:
===================
Friend List
Who can see your friends list?”
Remember, your friends control who can see their friendships on their own Timelines. If people can see your friendship on another timeline, they’ll be able to see it in News Feed, search and other places on Facebook. If you set this to Only me, only you will be able to see your full friends list on your timeline. Other people will see only mutual friends.
Following
Who can see the people, Pages and lists you follow?
Remember, the people you follow can see that you’re following them.
Followers
Who can see your followers on your timeline?

So why is this so important?
Well, chances are that if you’re like me, and been on FB ever since Prohibition was struck down….
Your ‘view your friends!’ resource is public.
And that’s truly not good at all!
I keep my friends visible to Only Me, as seriously, it’s only me who has the right to view that (thus lessening potential recruiters from contacting my kids as they patiently go thru all my contact resorces).

Your takeaway?
Dont share stuff all willy-nilly…. be very wise and alert as to how public your FB datai is….and restrict THAT as long as possible.
Enjoy!
