Today’s Quote of the Day

"Banish your fears by flooding them with light."

– Barbara Ling

I think that sometimes, our fears cripple us only because we refuse to stare at them straight in the face.

And that happens because we refuse to bring them up to the light so we can truly examine just why they terrify us so.

Over my 4 decades or so of life, I’ve learned that my mind had enlarged potential (not even real-life) problems so much that I lost dozens of opportunities…simply because I lacked the courage to confront my own perceived inadequecies

It’s a hero’s journey, true….but I’ll bet if you actually give yourself permission to tackle that which causes you to quiver in fear…you’ll learn the TRUTH is far less scary than the monsters your inner voice created.

And that is valuable beyond belief.

We all own our personal greatness or our perceived lack.   Take the steps you need to honor yourself and confront that which scares you – your life will take a turn for the better indeed.

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling
