Ikata, Nunchaku, HDTV and more
Mar 29th, 2008 | By Barbara | Category: InsightsMorning! (stretch stretch stretch)
Let me tell you, I am really starting to get into this concept called “sleep”. It’s really great when it happens!
‘course, as this weekend is major workMode, chances are, my prior sleep is the last time I’ll experience it for quite awhile….
Anywhos! Yesterday, no martial arts! Wah! BJJ was canceled (she discovered after she drove the 25 miles to it), so I just practiced my rolls/falls/etc. And we chose to miss karate so we could attend China night at the high school – that was superb. We met up with my kids’ friends/parents and watched the state Chinese yo-yo champion, several amusing skits, and 2 of our senseis perform katas and nunchaku. My gosh, ‘incredible’ doesn’t do them justice; my kids kept talking about them all the way home. We’re really lucky to have these folk teaching us at the dojo.
Woke up this morning and realized, I neglected to set up an autopost to my mom’s guide at Virtual Coach. Quickly wrote one on buying an HDTV – fun!
April Fools day will be on Tuesday and I have so much work to do it’s scary. ARGH! Need to teach myself how to write a Wordpress plugin, need to take more birdie pictures, need to design the entire site…..my work is cut out for me.
Time to make the donuts,
Barbara
ps – speaking about HDTV!
