Don't you love it when things from the past AND present….just seem to come together when you least expect it?
I was thinking that a few days ago when I was patiently creating my rather awesome customer-care followup series for the Facebook Fan Page Blueprint and the Facebook Marketing Goodies thingees. As you might be aware, one of my zillions of trademarks is overdelivering on customer expectations, and giving them a fantastically glorious customer care experience whenever they buy from me.
Well!
There I was, happily puttering about while single-handedly solving the worlds' chat-speak problem and knitting a cashmere jacket for my Mt. Everest adventure happening soon and adding extra unannounced bonuses when I received an email from a highly respected recruiter and author (I've known him since 'way back when, when he bought my first product, The Internet Recruiting Edge, back in 1999). And I was asked if I'd like to write a chapter about Job Seekers and Facebook for his latest project.
Given how smart this particular individual is, I was happy to consider the idea!
Even more so because…
My instant answer for how job seekers could use Facebook…hasn't been mentioned by anyone else at ALL.
IE, it's one heck of an original idea!
My ego – she be most buffed up indeed! So much so, let's celebrate with what I'm sure just came to your mind:
No? That's not the way you'd celebrate?
Alrighty, how about (cue long long ago time music….) ….
No! No! I'm NOT dating myself! I am NOT!
Hmmm. Still not worthy of the utter delight and bliss my celebrations deserve? Well then, check out THIS!!
I'm sorry, but you just can't get MORE awesome than Macgyver.
AND coffee.
AND your own personal Star Wars Drum Corps show!
So stay tuned for Part II of the Job Seeker's Power Advantage…it will not only rock your socks off, but style your hair fabulously as well. 🙂
Enjoy,
Barbara Ling
