Have you ever read the magnificent book, The Light Bearer?
It's truly a life-changing book; I first read it back in 1996 and just about ever year, re-read it to see what new lessons I can glean from it.
It's the kind of novel that speaks to your inner spirit! And as I've grown from newly married to the all-powerful mom of 4 to a well-seasoned 14+ year entrepreneur….I've realized that the future truly is dynamic and never fully written until…it becomes the past.
One of my favorite quotes features the seeress, Ramis, who tells Auriane:
"One day, Auriane, you'll look back at this time and see it as your deliverer."
('course, this was when she was enslaved as a female gladiator in the depths of the Roman empire….so as you can tell, such a powerful way of viewing the present really spoke to me bigtime).
Which brings me to the topic of this post. 🙂
During the past week, I've done some massive rebuilding/retooling of various web properties that I own, as well as how I approach teaching Internet marketing as a whole.
I'm quite content with my personal niche, MamaBear. And I'll continue that for my own personal pleasure.
But for marketing and the like, it occurred to me what's really missing in many online sites.
And that is hand-holding guidance as to what nuggets of gold can be found from the haystacks of marketing overdrive that exists.
Not only that…
I've discovered a key fact about my personality.
I really do *not* like writing marketing copy.
I like what quality tools work, mind you, and I like building a thriving business….but wow oh wow, I *hate* writing marketing copy.
So why bother continue with such things?
Instead, why not focus on showing my readers how to achieve their business goals in whatever niche they choose?
The fact is, some things are just plain required when creating a business/blog online.
- You need to have a mailing list.
- You need to have an autoresponder.
- You need to become an authority.
- You need to expend your time wisely.
- You need to ensure your site is optimized.
- You need to understand SEO.
- etc.etc.etc.
Given the fact I've done the above approximately 8,372 times, it makes sense, wouldn't you say, to teach my readers how to apply the general knowledge to their specific needs, aye?
So here's what I'm doing.
1.) I've created THE Inner Circle.
It's a daily mailing list for people who want to see what tools I come across daily…. and how said tools can be best applied to their business.
I'm still working out the kinks, mind you, but hey! It's getting there. 🙂

2.) I'm building Daily WSOs!
A WSO is a Warrior Special Offer – ie, a marketing tool/product that's made available at a 'way cheaper price than retail.
Thing is, they're so written with marketing hype, it's difficult sometimes to understand just why you'd want to know about them!
Daily WSOs will demystify just why you might want to consider whatever product is promoted.

3.) I've introduced Honorable Samurai!
Honorable Samurai is my mascot of Daily WSOs. Take a peek at him:
Ain't he grand? As samurai were great warriors, and as Daily WSOs focuses on the Warrior forum, I figured he was most appropriate indeed. 🙂
I'm still thunking on the best way to help my readers achieve their income goals for 2012, so that's still in the air, mind you. It will probably involve an older site of mine, Virtual Coach….but we'll see.
I think I'll also move my affiliate marketing posts to another site as well, but haven't yet figured that out. Most likely this afternoon, I'll bring me workbook to my bed, call up the mooses, turn on Discovery Channel and see what ideas flow.
And that's where I am today, 9/3/11!
