In other news, wow, it just doesn’t stop.  Visited my new prosthetics doctor yesterday and had my ankles recasted.  Interestingly enough, he knew Bobby very well over the past decades – we chatted quite a lot about the times 30 years ago.  I should be getting my new orthodics within the next few weeks.

Kid-wise, today is the last day of school!  Yay!  And I’ve been dealing bigtime with bullying issues among my kids – Honorable Daughter II stopped an incident from happening, while Honorable Son I, well, sat by and let the problem happen    (the kid in question wasn’t present, mind you, but that doesn’t lessen the issues to me).

So….I had a half-hour chat with HB1 and explained in no uncertain terms that "just sitting by and doing nothing" was just as bad as actively participating in bullying. 

Then I had him research how to stop bullying and teasing and begin to create a Squidoo page about the subject.  We’ll see how his attitude improves.
