A Very Merry Lingized Networking Meme

Morning!

Okay, yes yet again, its' close to evening.  But hey, I'm allowed to collapse in a heap – spent most of the day celebrating HD2's birdieDay, and earlier worked a bit on my husband's project.  What do you think?

But I digress.  🙂

I'm soooo fried right now (all together, how fried are you, Barbara?  I'm sooo fried that I could double as an extra-large portion of McDonalds friesssss!) that all I crave right now is the blessed joy of sleep sleep sleeeeeeeeeeep!  But then, I remembered Mitch's great post:

A Networking Meme

And as I promised to join in as well, here we go!

1. If you could interview anyone on your blog (alive or dead) who would you choose and why?

Why, there's only one choice of course – Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine!  Mother of King Richard the Lion Hearted, she made her way in a world where women were considered slightly less than chattel.  Truly an inspiring individual!

You can learn more at

A truly incredible woman, she was.

2. What do you feel is your strength as a blogger?

I've been there and done that and bought 3,392 apparel stores regarding, well, just about everything possible regarding blogging!  This is my 13th year I've been making my living online, and the welath of knowledge and skills I've acquired along the way is truly staggering.

As I always believe in passing things on, the above allows me to help out other bloggers and teach as I've been taught in the past.  And that makes it all worthwhile indeed!

3. Can you share a little bit about yourself that you have not already mentioned on your blog?

I like…..coffee?  🙂

My great great great grandfather was a stained glass artist, and when I was 26, that urge erupted in me too…I've made several window panels and lamps (and was showcased in the National Stained Glass newsletter back, oh, hmmm…..1990?)

Oh, and I'm a covert gourmet chef for the husband, and give the most dynamite massages known to mankind.  Makes the husband very happy indeed….  😛

4. If you were forced to change the name of your blog, what would you change it to? Why?

The Moose Chronicles.  Because, of course, life is mooses.

5. What do you think is the most fulfilling part of being a blogger?

By any shadow of a doubt, it's being part of a thriving community and helping out whenever possible.  What goes around, comes around….and I love seeing other learn and succeed like me.

6. What would you do with your last day if you found you had only one more day to live?

Probably reminisce about how truly blessed I am with my family and friends, and thank the gods that be that I was allowed such an incredible life to live.

7. You’ve been doing medical research for decades and have finally found a cure. What was it that you found a cure for and why did you choose this particular ailment?

Lack of confidence, of course.  My first decade or so saw me with less personality than a limp dishrag, so I'd love to gift everyone with the knowledge of their own inner greatness.

Sometimes it's very difficult to accept.

8. What is your most guilty pleasure?

Romance novels!

And white chocolate macadamia nuts!

And feathers!

9. Answer only one. What is your favorite book, movie or TV show?

Star Wars!  Star Trek!  and and and oh wait, you said only one.  🙂

10. What do you think is the very best smell in the world? The one smell that can take you back to a time and place of a very vivid memory in your past?

Pine and essential rose mixed a weee bit with lavender.  It represents to me the ultimate of family and joy.

Great questions, btw!  They're originally from Kissie (definitely check out her blog as well!).

Enjoy!
