Moose wrangler extraordinaire!

Hey there!  So nice to see you back….hope your Tuesday has been treating you well!

Over here in Ling Land, I’m really feeling….not exactly my numeric age, but possibly my wisdom age.  It’s most baffling indeed.

I finally got my doctor’s appointment set up for my ankles next week, yay!  I’m really resisting seeing the doctor, mind you, as I’m pretty well certain that it’s the beginning of the end of my ability to walk vaguely normally.   Then again, the last time I saw a doctor regarding that….it was many years ago, so perhaps technology has changed!  We’ll see.

Workwise, I completed my first RocketMom assignment, my very own About Me Lens over at

Barbara Ling – Maverick Mom, Dynamic Trainer, Moose Wrangler, More!

It went rather well!  I also built:

Teaching Academics Skills with the Nintendo DS

Grow your own natural chair

and am feeling pretty buff about myself, creation-wise.  Heck, I’m even teaching Honorable Boy 1 to build his own lenses in preparation for Camp Ling!

Life is good. 

In other news, my washing machine yet againt tried commiting suicide, and this time….Sears Cares offered to replace the entire beastie itself.  More yays!  The new washing machine should arrive next Tuesday.

Karate-wise…my kids and I are now second-level brown belts. 

There’s one more brown belt promotion to go and then the next belt is….black belt!  Yay!  That won’t happen for quite awhile, mind you, but it’s been quite an exciting journey indeed.

And that’s me latest!  Tonight is adult karate….but I’ll probably sit out again until I see the doctor.  It’s nice to realize that I’m actually demonstrating wisdom.
