Negative Sleep, Writing an Ebook in 2 Days and more!

Leaving Money on the TableMorning all,

It never fails…every few weeks I go into Insane Work Mode and retreat from humanity while I generate the work of 73 marketers, moms and mavericks…all at one time.

The good news is the quality of work I produce simply staggers the mind…the bad news is I’ll shortly be crashing and burning.  But hey, I do seem to thrive on this kind of insanity.  :)

First things first!

Yesterday I took the Ling Clan to the Liberty Science Center and wow, did they ever enjoy it bigtime.  We saw the 3d Dinosaur and Prehistoric IMAX feature, and even got in some jogging up and down the staircases for character-building-ness (my that was tiring I will admit!).  By the time we returned (we were gone from 9am to 4pm), attending karate was not an option (as I had to start my day’s work at that time).  Wah!  Hopefully I can return next week for it.

So on what was it that I was so feverishly working?  Well, a few days ago I bought THIS COOL PRODUCT and decided I had to customize the footer.   I was playing around with ideas and came up with the tag line:

13 Ways You’re Leaving Money on the Table

Jeepers self, I thought, that’s pretty compelling!  Let’s use it as part of my Income Fitness series!

One slight problem however….the ebook didn’t exist.  :)

So yesterday…I started writing the ebook and this morning at 3am…finished it!  Yay!  Even crafted up the ebook cover as well.  It’s going to be a freebie that I’ll be offering the folks who sign up for the Virtual Coach Income Fitness Newsletter.

But I digress.  :)

What else did I accomplish yesterday?  Ah yes – yesterday was Friday and that meant Twitter Friday Follow!  Here’s who I mentioned:

Notice that link for Realtors?  I started that because @rescjack joined Twitter, ie, Jack Peckham, the person who helped me out 9 years ago back in 1999 when I wrote The Real Estate Pro’s Internet Edge.  I never forget when people help me out…so I hope I was able to deliver people to his profile in return.

Yesterday I also wrote

BAM is the sound of your affiliate commissons scurrying away

Video Marketingand remembered to alert my list to the Video Marketing launch over at Video Assassin Countdown – Make Money with YouTube Videos.

And folks think I have no life.  Hah!  :)

Today I’m taking the Ling Clan to Medieval Times (where yes!  I scored a discount!   2 for the price of 1!  Mom rocks!) so it’s another non-stop day.  I’ve been up since 3am and was planning on napping at 5:30am…but alas….at 5:35am the mooses decided my sternum would make a peachy trampoline.  Sleep was an insance concept after that.  :)

And life goes on.  :)

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling

2 Days to write an Ebook! Impressive. So what are we talking here? 50 pages and 12-14 hours of writing or?

Content is about 30 pages or so? This was a quickie for me – the title is 13 Ways You Are Leaving Money on the Table.

Thanks for stopping by and your kind words! Barbara

30 pages of quality content. Nice. How many hours do you think you wrote effectively?

Hmmm….lemmee see….if you take away interruptions and the like, I’d reckon….3-4 hours?

That is impressive. I started writing a report yesterday but I am nowhere near that speed of writing.
