Romantic Date, Selfish Twits and more

Children of HuangMorinng!  Yesterday was yet another day in which I was too zonked to update my site in the evening (and not only that – I dramatically failed yet again to post at my three other blogs too!).

However, I’m not really beating myself up about that, as I did accomplish one heck of a lot of goodness….

(both workwise and more importantly, family-wise, to boot).

Lessee…where to start!  Well, let’s get the business stuff out of the way first.  I added new avatars to the Virtual Coach Income Fitness forum  – here’s mine!

avatars!

Look at it REAL close-like and tell me if you can figure out what it is.  :)

And this morning, I added a whole heap ‘o new smilies like:

Post-wise, we’re starting to get some great questions

(and remember, right now the community is FREE!  You can generate traffic back to your site by your signature links and more!)

like:

Note to self – Build the Who Hired Bob site and finish writing Income Fitness!

Family-wise, ah, now that was quite the nerve-draining emotion-quivering nail-biting usual thingees that always seem to happen to me.  :)   Actually, the only real, ahem, opportunities for extreme frustration was dealing with Honorable Boy II who had the highly unfortunate urge to tell me:

"Mom, you only bought me ONE thing, not EVERYTHING I wanted!"

Sigh.  I’m pretty certain that HB2 will never say that to me again, as my reaction was:

"Drats.  Let me fix that by not buying anything whatsoever in the future so you don’t have to count when Mom is generous to you.  Okay?"

Ummm, no…HB2 proceeded to communicate quite effectively that Jeepers Mom, that’s not what I wanted!  :)   Then I had to reassure him that while I love him dearly and will storm the gates of hell for him, I do NOT love his actions when he’s a selfish twit.

Took some time, but the message was sent AND received.

Later that day I actually got a life (yes! I did!) and watched the movie

The Children of Huang Shi

with my husband in the evening.  Wonderful moving story…and even better, I got uninterrupted time with the husband!  Yay!

Today is our town’s Earth Day celebration, so perhaps we’ll all dance our ways to the farm.  And ‘sides that, I plan on spending the morning on a romantic date with the husband as well, chilling out at the local Barnes and Noble cafe after fine dining at McDonalds.  Remember, it’s not the location of romance that’s important…it’s the quality of the company.

And that was me Saturday,

Barbara Ling

I’m guessing that it is a fox jumping over a sheep?

That or a wolf. But I found it quite cute indeed!

A wolf definitely! I don’t recall ever hearing of a fox eating sheep :)
