New lenses, new hacky sacks, new self-confidence, new ….

Morning!

How things change when your outlook is adjusted.

Now that I know what paths I can take with my left ankle (orthotics tomorrow, surgery perhaps sometime), I’ve given myself permission to regain my confidence regarding Martial Arts.  It was a very bad few days prior to that; I hate second-guessing myself.

But!  Yesterday I did do adult karate/sparring and did NOT sit it out.  Yay!  True, I kept repeating to myself, I can DO this, and also true, my technique is non-existent in sparring, but hey…it was a start once agian.  Yay!

Family-wise!  Things are doing peachy – this is the second week Honorable Boy II has been wearing his purple belt (I busted him down 10 days ago from his higher rank because his attitude needed some major adjustment).  I’m pleased to report that his attitude has undergone a remarkable transformation, and even the Sensei there told me it worked out well (he had some questions as to if it would be effective). 

Oh yes!  I also got my kids hacky sacks with the image take of Camp Ling below:

In other words, we all now have flamed-decorated hacky sacks, even me.  They’re pretty cool, I’ll admit….and I’ll be adding that to Camp Ling as well.
