Start Your Thanksgiving Holiday Sales Profit Planning

Well!

It’s the day after Halloween!  Wheeeeee!

And that means it’s time to start thinking about Thanksgiving.

More importantly…YOUR Thanksgiving sales and profits.

Let’s take a look at this.  In the USA, Thanksgiving drops upon us on 11/26/09 .  That means you now have 25 days to get your rear in gear for your promotions!

And that reminds me.  What promotion do you WANT to do?

Well, you have several options available.  Let’s go over them one by one.

Christmas is after one month AFTER Thanksgiving. 

So…if your customer takes advantage of a Thanksgiving sale, make certain you include in their followup autoresponder sequence another discount…for your Christmas sale.

What are people interested in regarding Thanksgiving…that you can relate to your business?

If you’ve written an infoproduct, dash off a bonus white paper you can include for Thanksgiving  sales.  For example, let’s say that your niche is in car care.  Write a brief report on travel safety during the Thanksgiving holidays, or include some thanksgiving-related car accessories you can incorporate from Amazon.

If you’re a Make Money on the Internet type of person, you can write 5 Private Label Report articles regarding Thanksgiving (or the winter holidays) as a bonus.

If you focus on freelancing, you can offer a 10% off Thanksgiving sale on your services IF the contract clears within the next 7 days.

If you focus on recruiting, you can offer a giveaway client industry white paper on Thanksgiving at the office or other holiday party questions.

If you focus on real estate, writing up a "how to sell your house during the holidays."

This is something I need to do myself!  If you can create a ‘how to’ series in your niche that relates to the holidays, and close with a great sales opportunity….it’s a wonderful way to get brand your knowledge on potential customers and clients.
