Yep, that woman be me.  Behold Phoenix Wolf!  :)

This morning I was happily doing the dishes when my ankle decided to imitate a soggy noodle and collapse in a genteel heap of non-goodness.

Luckily, I’m learning to recognize the instant this happens and can bring myself down to the ground relatively easily, plus the ferocious moosies came running over too to give me encouragement.  :)

It’s doing better now, but … yep.   New state of Barbara Ling – be prepared to collapse at a moment’s notice!  Ah well, it could be worse.

So what does this have to do with a fiery mind?

Well, it’s like this.

I might be non-optimal….

But that will NOT define who I *am*.

I am always fond of telling my friends/family that its thru the most brutal and soul-searing of fires that the greatest gifts are obtained.

And while I’m pretty darned positive that is NOT this case (this case is simply my ankle is collapsing)….I still do like the sentiment.  :)

Thus, even though right now I’d prefer to simply remove myself from the rest of the world….I’m going to rebound, regroup, and make things grand.
