"Your future success is shaped by your past failures."

– Barbara Ling

I’m big on failure as an extraordinary learning too.

One of the reasons for this is because not only does failure teach you what DOESN’T work…it also challenges you to stretch your inner spirit to ACCEPT the fact that, well, you were wrong.

Once you can embrace the idea that it’s okay to goof and learn from your mistakes, you free yourself to try and uncover ever more creative solutions.

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling

the image on this post is from a part of the Star Wars film with one of my favorite quotes of all time,

Luke: “I’m trying!”
Yoda: “try? TRY? there is no try, only do or not do”

so true (and helpful to say to people that aren’t really trying) :)

Yes indeed! I love Star Wars – I think it’s the perfect mythology for the 20th century.

My kids always repeat that to me too. :)
