Hmmmm?
If so, don’t despair – lots of folks do! Check out this search:
inurl:category/uncategorized wordpress
Almost 2 MILLION sites are returned.
2,000,000!
And that’s just a cryin’ shame.
Remember, YOU are UNIQUE! You are SPECIAL! And you are definitely WORTH READING!
Which means….you really do yourself a grave disservice if you hang back with the herd of other uncategorized writers as well.
It’s easy enough to fix this, mind you -simply go to your WordPress dashboard, click on "Posts" and then select "Categories". You can then rename the
- Uncategorized
category to something more useful in your niche. Say, "Tips" or "News" or "General" or …. something, ANYTHING, that helps contribute towards the professionalism of your site (I myself use "Insights").
It’s such a small thing….but can really go quite a ways to improving how you’re perceived by your audience. And as they are the ones who will buy from you…that can only be described as a Very Good Thing indeed.
