Unleash The Power of Mama Bear

You know, making lots money online is a great pastime and one that delivers tons of terrific real-world benefits.

And NOT making money online, well, that just plain imitates a vacuum cleaner….and that brings me to today’s burning question:

How do you get from NOT to A LOT?

I was reminded of that earlier this week at Karate. Now, at home, I’m a nice mild-mannered mom who worships coffee, builds 100s of sites, makes a great income, raises terrific kids, takes care of a wondrous husband, etc.

When I’m indulging in Me Time (ie, karate, BJJ, etc.), I transform myself into a dedicated Martial arts student…one who happily takes any hit that comes her way if it results in me gaining knowledge and expertise. I wear every black and blue mark with pride.

But!

When my family or friends encounter grief, I metamorph into Mama Bear. I don’t care who the grief-causer is, I don’t care how impossible it might be for me to utterly decimate him or her; I immediately go into Major Protect Mode and am ready to remove the grief as soon as time allows.

My ‘Mama Bear’ nickname was given to me two years ago by KidI’s teacher in response to my reaction when another kid was contemplating, ahem, negative actions towards my kid. While I firmly believe in letting my kids solve their own problems, it doesn’t stop me from, ahem, gently communicating to the teacher my views on the matter….and how I would choose to handle the situation. 🙂

The nickname stuck…and today I’m known as Mama Bear.

What does ‘Mama Bear’ mean to you? To me, it’s indicative of how far you’ll go to protect those you love. It transcends common ordinary efforts…and catapults you into abilities you never thought you’d be able to pull off.

And you know…you can transmit this power to your own efforts of making money online as well.

Think about. Just why do you work? I blogged a bit about that over at What Inspires YOU to Achieve Miracles?…. do you approach your work as though it’s less exciting than picking off toenail fungus from your pinky toe?

Is “work” to you something that fills you with so much joy that you’d rather perform a do-it-yourself vasectomy with a butter knife instead?

Hmmm?

Or is it something that infuses you with so much passion, you won’t stop your efforts until you welcome SUCCESS! as it comes barging through your door?

Hmmmm?

Which one is it?

• Do you unleash the power of Mama Bear?

Or

• Do you instead leash your passions and stay content with being mediocre?

Answering the above question truthfully can be the first real step you take to making it big online.

It’s all in how you choose to channel your passions…and give yourself permission to succeed. For me, well, Mama Bear rules. And that’s just the plain simple fact of life.
