Sometimes we tend not to value our time.
And sometimes, we might find ourselves going out of our way when it's truly not appreciated.
I just came across the following brilliant article:
If WE Don't Value Our Time…Who Will?
It really is a tremendous read – I highly recommend it!
I especially like:
…There are the times that I really want to speak with the other person for a myriad of reasons or simply because I just feel like it. So I say, “Sure, when can you talk?” As long as I come away from those conversations energized versus depleted, I feel good about them, that my time was well spent. Because while it is business, it isn’t always about the money….
I think….that's the key.
You come away from those conversations, or the actions you've done….feeling like it was *well* worth your time.
But what if you discover what you've done, what you've shared….just isn't valued at all?
Simple.
You stop doing it.
And you honor yourself for having the impulse to do good…and then let it go.
Thus, today, tell yourself that your time is valuable, your efforts are valuable, and honestly folks…just do *not* waste them when they're not appreciated.
Your bank account will thank you for it.
Grow strong,

When you are networking, and come away with a good feeling about the person, it can often lead to money down the road, even if that isn’t your main focus. It all sort of works together…
