Today’s Thought to Share - When carpets attack

Morning all! Today’s thought to share involves carpets. Yes, carpets, those things that normal families use in their households to cover the floor, instead of to prepare frighteningly goopy scientific food experiments.
First the thought: Ancient Chinese Saying:
He who spreads Go-gurt with joyful abandon wakes up to discover the term ‘dessert’ has been transmorgrified by Mom to mean "Liver and Broccoli".
But I digress. 
As you might remember, yesterday I encountered the soul-searing joy otherwise known as dynamiting my guest room in a frenzied effort to return it to a vague state of normalacy. After 3 or 4 hours, I’m pleased to announce it’s once more fit for human or alien habitation, but wow - the adventures thru which I went getting it there!
Did you know there are ways you can clean your carpets yourself? I found the following excellent resources which I present to you for your utter abandon:

Hi Barbara - I’d read yesterdays post and your kids remind me of mine. I was hoping you’d make them clean the room themselves.
I know how hard carpet cleaning is, because we used to do it as part of an old business. Now my own carpets look like they need a good clean and I’m not looking forward to it.
