Yesterday, I saw the Batman Lego movie.
And it is SO HYSTERICALLY funny (especially to baby boomers like me!!)
SO many callbacks to the 1966 series with Adam West:
Alfred Pennyworth: Were you looking at the old family pictures again?
Batman: No, I wasn’t!
Alfred Pennyworth: Sir, I have seen you go through similar phases in 2016 and 2012 and 2008 and 2005 and 1997 and 1995 and 1992 and 1989 and that weird one in 1966 (cut to Adam West, as Batman, dancing 1960s style)
Batman: I have aged phenomenally!

Yesterday was a day for growth and adventure.
My youngest had a party at iPlay…. and more than 10 people showed up.
This.Is.Huge.
As you might remember, my youngest used to be extremely socially clueless but has recently gained in maturity in leaps and bounds. And while I just went on bedrest after getting back…
…. the positive effects on the kid’s self-confidence…
It was worth it.
Plus… I definitely need a better camera than my iFizzle:
That is my youngest on some sort of ride. The kid is in the rightmost seat.
In other Lingland news, one kid is out of state at a robotics competition. Should be coming home by 1am, wheeee!
