Today is the 2nd day of 2017… hope your year started off peachy!
And resolutions! Do you have any? For me, instead of a resolution, I made a promise to myself which I offer to you!

So! Today is the first day of January, 2017….
… and I, or rather, the Kingly Moose, have a challenge for you (side note – the Kingly Moose is the royalty that rules over the group “I Love Snowdogs” and as such, is used to being the bearer of new and fresh decrees.)
Without any more further ado, his Most Royal Highness speaks!
“Hear ye, hear ye, most loyal subjects of MooseLand!
Today dawns a brand new, fresh year in which much personal greatness, satisfaction and courage is waiting for you to achieve.
Many other people speak of “New Years Resolutions” and the like, but allow me to suggest something else.
Instead of a New Years Resolution, consider perhaps… a personal promise to *yourself*.
One that you can actually *keep*.
And it’s this:
This year, 2017… promise to treat yourself as you’d treat those whom you value greatly.
From 2016 and prior, chances are…
* There have been people in your life who have done you wrong.
* Capriciously taken you for granted.
* Boldly lied to you.
* Callously demanded rent-free space in your mind (okay, you probably gave that without asking. But I digress).
And such folk have been wasting your life-cycles that you could use instead …
… for the people *you love*.
The people *you value*.
The family who *deserves you*.
Give yourself permission to *let go* of the past….
… and promise yourself that the only people you will keep in your life are those who *deserve* the privilege of being there.
I was recently told by a good friend that friendship has requirements (true) and asked, what if you can’t see your friend and they take offense to it?
To that I would say, if they’re a true friend, they would understand from where you are coming and not guilt trip you into meeting their needs at the unwanted expense of your own.
In other words: it’s *okay* to sometimes put *yourself* first.
In closing – drop the dead weight of your acquaintances. If a person doesn’t enhance your life, or isn’t neutral in your life (aka provides you with a negative impact)…
*Drop said individual*.
You deserve better for 2017….
You really do.
But only *you* can make that happen.

Happy New Ear!
If you stayed up last night, I certainly hope your day was peachy tending towards a mangoest flair!
Me, I went to bed at 7pm, got up at 11pm, and my family joined me in my room. Kids were chatting with one another, I was reading, it was grand. The ball dropped at 12am, and by 12:30am, methinks I was asleep.
And did you ever hear of the following? You should eat 12 grapes on New Years Eve for good luck – 1 for each month.
I never did. But the kids enjoyed. 🙂
And! The morning was pretty nifty too. Let’s see…. went swimming with the husband, and then we decided to pick the least-enjoyed place by the kids for lunch (as they had indicated they wanted to stay home).
We ended up at the Garlic Rose (think – everything slathered in roasted garlic) and my oh my, massive yumsville!
After we got home, we *finally* had our “open the presents” day (long story but basically, kids dropped the ball on the official day so the parents postponed it until yesterday). Lots of fun, lots of laughter, lots of good times!

Such a humbling day. My launch did NOT take. It took less than ice can freeze in a sauna.
Less than lukewarm water can support a 747.
Most depressing, that…
… but these things happen!

“Good morning! How is that rising and shining coming along ?
Yesterday was a very humbling yet very powerful day for me. The last time I did the same amount of work for a launch that didn’t take was in 2012… sure did forget what its like pouring in massive brainpower and seeing the results…. well, if they were people, they’d still be underage.

Still, though, I was able to turn into a GRAND life lesson for the kids…which makes everything worthwhile indeed! I will be writing up the entire marketing story for this weekend.
So why the Winners Cup? Because one superb way to handle mistakes is to take out what aspects you can use to springboard for the future. Mine include several “forget this and die” product creation steps , several good talks I had with the kids and more.
Yesterday after taking the whole family out for hibachi lunch, I gave myself permission to put my business on autopilot and do ZERO with marketing. Hence no questions yesterday, no lessons posted, etc.etc.etc. – yesterday was MY day to heal.
However, that’s NOT to say yesterday was a total wash, business-wise. Much appreciation for Marlon Sanders and Amanda Craven and Chrisaka Mrmake ItHappen Val Wilson Matt Garrett Emma Anderson Sue WorthingtonAurelius Tjin Sam England Tania Shipman Art Flair and others – I had affiliate sales from them so as always, business continued fine without me!

Had the best of intentions for getting my latest out yesterday, I really did.
DID get to the gym…. (yay!) Behold my look of utter excitement.
It’s almost as thrilling as…. as…. as….. moose wrassln’! 🙂
After that, my husband decided to treat our youngest to IKEA and help him fix his mouse cage (long long long story – basically my youngest is really attuned to small animals and now has a piggyMoose, 3 hammyMooses and now… 4 feeder miceyMooses. Side note – mice are pretty smart and quite adorable. More on that later….).
During the afternoon, alas, I kinda sorta could have done better, so spent most of the day on bedrest. But!
