Neither did I, but I just came across this article:

According to John, it works exactly as the main Amazon Associates program does, however:
“…Not everyone qualifies for the Amazon Influencer Program. They’re looking for people who have a certain minimum level of social media influence, but they’re not being explicit about the exact requirements. I was denied when I first applied, then I received an email asking me to re-apply and I got approved a few days later. To apply, go to www.amazon.com/influencers and go through the process. It only takes a few seconds….”
For those of you with a huge social media following, it could be most lucrative indeed.

Well, yesterday I had a long chat with one of my kids… and instead of judging, I decided to ask instead:
“What makes you tick?”
And bunches of information came flowing out.
It was a very good chat indeed.
So I wrote on my timeline:
“Something I have just re-learned. The easiest way to understand your kids… is to simply *ask* what you want to discover.”
It really helped.

A very good way for dealing with that is after one side says something, the other side *repeats back* what is heard.
And then they ask, Did I get it right?
And if so… the other side then says, okay, here’s my response.
And the first side says, Did I get it right?
And you go back and forth this way.

It was very important for me to make it…
Because quite honestly, not only is the world a better place because you’re in it….
Chances are, if you give yourself 24 hours and see if you can get thru it… or call a friend, family, or the suicide prevention hotline at 1-800-273-8255 ….
Most likely you will still be around tomorrow to re-evaluate your ideas.
Remember – there is no shame in depression, mental illness, anxiety, or any of the conditions that make people feel all hope is lost.
