It’s Sunday and kinda sorta time for a rant……
But not really.
Honestly, Saturday was quite good….
Went swimming with the husband (yay!) and got to showcase MY take of the Laptop Lifestyle:
Yes, those are my adorablez feetsies by the beach (okay, in the sauna)….
… and then had an utterly grand lunch with the husband:
It’s been a loooong time since we went to that particular place and the prime rib was, honestly, amazing. Husband had salmon, we came home, and wow…. it was a very enjoyable restful evening as well.
And! My youngest has asked to take the SSATs (boarding school exams) – it appears that *finally* his desire to reach more than his current academic status has emerged.
Been waiting a long time for that, I will admit.
Additionally, Kid #3 (the one who is attending early college at age 16) has indicated a desire to achieve more, ideally starting yesterday. We’ll see how transcripts and scholarships might work out but most likely….
… he’ll be starting a traditional 4 year university at 17 … and as a junior.
Thing is…
Hell… revisited.
Ever survive something so traumatic that you wonder…. just *why* did it happen to you… and how could you turn it to your advantage?
I look at my kids’ achievements and realize, wow….
… they really do surpass both my husband and me.
It’s something to be most grateful for. And not just via academics (academics coupled with a lack of personality really don’t get you very far)… I look back on all the sheer idiocies I did during my past 50+ years in life and realize:
Perhaps the reasons why part of my earlier life was such hell… was so I’d be able to pass on what I had learned to those whom I cherish the most.
Its something to think on… and something that makes any hell you go through… worthwhile.
Tonight is the season finale to Star Trek: Discovery!!!!!!!!
I mean seriously… is there anything greater?

And apparently, an AI company, Possible, as well:
Whats rather cool is the bot is being training to automatically counter hateful tweets…. and once a hate tweeter is identified, a human steps in for further consideration.
Native language and image recognition is key in this. And what ended up being built is truly a bot that tries to combat hate.
Can you imagine how you could employ these ideas within your marketing? Polarization is one way to create audiences that either love or hate your message…. and that can a long way towards building up an audience for the same.
