And today?
It’s Thursday!
Well, actually, no.
It’s still Wednesday.
At 9:45pm to be precise.
Can’t sleep. 🙁
So I figured, alrighty then, let’s get out the morning newsletter (all together now…. yay!).
Yesterday was rather decent.
Got to the gym (yay!).
Heard more about the 5:2 diet idea where you eat your normal 2K calories 5 days a week, and then cut that down to 500 every 3 or 4 days.
Now, I used to do the Atkins diet quite well but as I’m getting older, I will admit…
… my body doesn’t react as well to low carb as it could.
And given my extremely lousy physical condition, the less weight I carry on my frame, the better!
From my comfy weight of 130, I’m now 145 (note to self – the inability to exercise like I used to – not good! But it’s life so…. I have to change things around).
I’ve realized that while I really do like my Nerds candy, there ARE times I’m okay with substituting apples or frozen strawberries instead as a dessert/munchie…
So we’ll see how that goes.
