Writing Superb Sales Letters eBooks and Products

Ah, actually selling your products or services on the Internet. It is truly a most wonderful thing.

One of the difficulties entrepreneurs run into when writing sales letters for their site is they're just too close to the products! After all, you know how terrific they are...but your website visitors don't.

Think about it...they might have found you in search engines. Maybe they heard about you from their peers. Perhaps an article you had written sparked interest for the visitor to learn more.

So they visit your site! Now stop right there and put yourself in their perspective. They're checking out something about which they have no feelings attached...it could be good, it could be lousy, who knows?

Thus, your website has to grab them by the neck and excite them to want to learn more more more! How do you achieve this?

There are several techniques involved. The first thing to remember is you're actually, well, not the most important quality to your product. Your site should talk in terms of the values and benefits visitors will receive should they be wise enough to invest in your offerings. Don't write "I I I ..." instead, talk to your visitor with "you you yous."

Next, be vivid. Be exciting! Intrigue and entrace. Hook your reader's emotions and evoke feelings that make them desire your service. Keep in mind that people buy to change their emotional state. For example, they might invest in diet plans, not because they enjoy eating an unusual diet or even because they want to lose weight...but because they want to be attractive to the appropriate sex. They want to feel desirable.

See what I mean? If you sell diet plans based upon the theme, be healthy...it might be true, but might not strike that emotional chord within your reader. Put your product as a solution to a fervently felt desire, however...and you mihgt see your sales take a turn up to the sky.
