=====================
Good
morning!
Ah,
the Internet. More to the point, ah, your website. Is it bringing to you
the profits and visibility your business deserves?
Probably
not. Think about it - let's say you're a recruiter in the healthcare arena.
How many other recruiters are in your space? Do you want your site to pop
up for searchwords like:
Remember,
the top ten is notable by having only 10 spots. Thus, it's impossible to
guarantee such visibility....but there are ways to ensure you greatly increase
your own probability. And here's how you do it.
Think
for a second about what your search engine goals *really* are. In our above
example, would
make
the most sense? Do you handle every possible region in the US? Perhaps
you focus instead upon certain states or cities. In that case, something
like
might
deliver better results for your recruiting.
Determining
the best keywords to use is the first step of high search engine visilibity.
Next, you want to examine your pages themselves. Remember, each page on
a website is one more opportunity for your site to appear in the top ten!
Thus, you should optimize each page to focus upon different keywords as
well.
The
art of webpage optimizing is quite dramatic... and it's something you can
learn if you have the time. Some great resources for this include:
http://www.web-source.net/webpage_optimizing.htm
http://www.pandia.com/post/013-optimization.html
Can
this really work? Indeed it can - I've been doing this since 1997 back
when Infoseek indexed pages in real time (ah, memories). Some examples
of sites I've built that deliver results?
Remember,
the Internet is always changing and always fluid. What might not work now
might only require little tweakies to greatly improve performance. Take
advantage of that.
ThankYouVeryMuch!
