Yaaaaaawn, I’m a wee bit tired I’ll confess – yesterday’s joyful mad dash with the kids and family certainly tuckered me out one whole heck of a lot.
However, after liberally applying 29 cups of coffee, I’ve finally returned to the land of the living! Yay!
But I digress.
Hey, check out the optical illusion on this post! Is that cool or what? Even knowing the trick, I would swear the lines are slanted…but no indeed, those are straight circles that are marching across your screen.
I received this from Nicky 510 – it’s always a great thing to which to wake up in the morning!
And here’s the copy:
…The Garden of Confusion is what I call it. Why? Welllll, look close. All those dark green circles of grass? They’re completely aligned right to left and up and down. Horizontal and vertical. NO slanting. Same with the light green grass patches. And the black and white diamonds. There’s nothing that’s not going completely horizontally or vertically. If you doubt me, take a piece of paper with a straight edge and place it over part of the image. The paper’s edge can’t lie – nothing is tilted. But it sure looks tilted, doesn’t it? …MORE….
Neat!
Enjoy,
Barbara Ling

Isn’t that a cool illusion?
Greens always seem to throw our eyes off, don’t they? I could immediately see the lines were straight, but I have to admit that it’s probably because I’ve seen so many of these things over the years that I’ve just gotten used to them.
