Bright Idea - Profitable eBay Alert Trick

Welcome! If you're new to my site, click HERE to let me show you where the best benefits for yourself are located. Thanks for visiting!

Bright IdeaI’ll be the first one to admit it - I love the eBay Affiliate Program and the Amazon Affiliate Program and have generated quite a good income from them over the years.

But did you also know you can use these two merchants for your own personal needs?   Your money doesn’t grow only when you make it online….you also become rich when you become The Millionaire Next Door and start saving the income you’ve earned!

One way I enjoy doing this is taking advantage of all the goodies eBay and Amazon offer to me.  For example, have you ever been searching for that special something that only rarely shows up on eBay?  It could be a signed first edition of the Gutenberg Bible, it could be a coffee drive thru, you know what I mean.  :)

Let’s say that you have this insane desire for, oh, hmmm, an unlocked iPhone.  Click on that link and then….then lookie what you see right next to the "Items Found" count - it’s a link that reads:

(Save This Search)

When you click on that, you’ll see:

Save your eBay search

You’ll see that your search will already be populated with your specific criteria!  All you have to do is set the duration and voila, you’ll be alerted to when the goodies you seek come again up for grabs.  6 months, 12 months, you set the time limit…and like clockwork, eBay will alert you to when the item is up for bid.

This is a SUPER way for snagging hard-to-find gifts AND out-of-print/creation books/manuals/how-tos etc.

Over the years, I’ve obtained signed copies of Lillian Moller Gilbreth books, special items from my friends’ childhood for holiday gifts, and White House Dinner Menus (to name a few).

Nice, eh?

Enjoy,

Barbara
