One of the most
challenging aspects of being an entrepreneur and making money online is satisfying customer needs. Alas, science has definitely proven that there really ARE only 24 hours in a day….and if your product is picked up by a master affiliate, chances are, you’ll be hip deep in emails and customer support for an indecent amount of time.

Back in 2006, I learned one super lesson regarding time management online. It was from Jim’s guide The Lazy Man’s Guide to Online Business and dealt with brilliant ways of making the most profit out of your time online. And let me assure you, responding to customer inquiries wasn’t high on that list!!

That didn’t mean that you should ignore your customer, heck no! Instead, make it beyond easy for them to uncover answers for themselves by offering a worldclass helpdesk they can peruse. I took that concept myself and ran with it by incorporating affiliate resources as well.

Consider one of my last years’ products, The Safe and Smart Internet Weight Loss Edge. When customers buy, as well as being treated to a superb 21 day customer care followup sequence, they also are directed to the Fab Fit Mom Knowledgebase for all sorts of goodies. Not only do I answer all technical questions there, but you’ll notice each page is monetized by the eBay affiliate program as well.

Now, sure there are paid help desk programs out there. But equally as superb is KB Publisher, available for free at SourceForge. That is how I built my helpdesk; it’s easy to configure and use. You can learn more at their help forums online.

One of the benefits to having been there and done it all with regards to making money online is that I’ve gone through the ropes for streamlining every possible entrepreneurial operation online. I’ve found KB Publisher to be a super resource for my business needs; I’ll bet you will as well.
