Creative profitable idea for replacing lousy-performing rectangle ads

Brilliant IdeaMorning!

As you’re probably aware, eBay recently cut over from Commission Junction to their own affiliate program.

That’s the eh? news.

The utterly soul-searing agonizing earlobe-dropping foot-crumbling news,  however, is that they have yet to port of the Ebay on the Go creative, which would product a nice 350×250 or so rectangle of eBay joyfulness.

Well!  Having made some many Lingstar Gourmet Blogger Breakfasts recently, I’ve really taught myself quite a lot about the Amazon.com Carousel widget.   And this morning I realized, if you take TWO carousel widgets and stack ‘em up, you get a pretty nifty looking rectangular block of affiliate goodness!

Lookie below – I just installed this over at my Virtual Coach Mom Blog.

2 Carousel widgets from Amazon.com

I’m really looking forward to seeing how they perform compared to the non-existent eBay widget.

Want to do the above yourself?  Check out my tutorial that discusses the Amazon Carousel Widget over at Day 12 of 21 Days to a more profitable blog – Craft a post about frugal discounted lust – it comes complete with pictures as well.

Enjoy,

Barbara Ling
