But it is indeed true….your eyeglass frames cost so darned much because of the insane marketing/advertising costs that are required even to get the blasted product to your attention (let alone, get you to buy).
And that, to me, is a crying shame (wah!).

I think it applies to every material one is planning to buy. I really had made a lot of those mistakes too when buying something like an expensive wireless handsfree only to find out that there’s a same model on other place for 30% lower… sucks..
