For That Special Mom – Presenting The 12 Days of Mother’s Day!
May 10th, 2008 | By Barbara | Category: Insights
Morning everyone! In honor of tomorrow when I wake up at 3:00am and continue my blogging and book writing and all-powerful motherizing and lounge in bed, waited on hand and foot by my adoring family, I found myself wondering the following.
Since motherhood is a 24 x 7 x 52 x 60 odd years job, why is there only ONE day to celebrate it?
Well??? Thus, I’ve borrowed another holiday’s favorite song and revamped it to fit The Day of Moms. Hope you enjoy! And here we go (be sure to click on each picture to see where it takes you):

Did you ever wonder what the square hole in the anvil is for? Did you know it has a name (”Hardy hole” or “Hardie hole”)?
(I knew what it was for, but didn’t know it had a name. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anvil)

Happy Mothers’ Day!
Hey Barbara
That’s great! Although I am a Dad and not a Mom, and because I am in England our Mothers’ Day was back in March – I still really loved your 12 Days! Well done!
with all good wishes
Robert
Very cute, Barbara. I was happy to have the hugs of my kids, but my 9 year old son got me more than I expected with a hand made ceramic tile that shows the biggest present, with him on one side, giving me “A vacion off WORK” to be loved by him.

I am only a mama to a wonderful Lab mix, named Annie, but she is the best!
(Well outside of the time she ate my soft top to my Miata! lol)
She brings me love, laughter, sunshine and joy on a daily basis.
She got me into my business of selling pet supplies and custom made Christmas stockings for people and pets (with toys and treats for the pets!) and names in glitter for all.
(With people stuff thrown in here and there for good measure!)
I love all the customers and pets I meet through my ebay biz- that and Annie, give me something to look forward to every day :O)
To every mother out there, I wish you the happiest of days, spent with the ones you love!
Thanks for being a mom :O)
Hugs from me and my lab Annie!
