Freakin' yummy guitar picksMorning!

Just think that you finally managed to win the bid of the
1954 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Guitar….would any ‘ole pick do?

Well?  I ask you this, gentle reader, would it????

Heck NO!  Remember:

Anything that touches a
1954 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Guitar should be out of this WORLD!!!

But do not despair, gentle reader, for thou art in luck!  The guitar picks you see pictured above are made from Gibeon Meterorite.  Now, as any experienced astronomer would know,

….Gibeon Meteorite was first reported by Capt. J.E. Alexander in 1838. He heard of masses of native iron up to two feet square on the east side of the Great Fish River. While he did not see the masses himself, he was able to obtain samples for analysis. Undoubtedly, the natives in the area were previously aware of these occurrences, since they were found on the surface…Radiometric dating places the age of crystallization of the iron-nickel metal in the Gibeon at 4 billion years.….MORE….

Can you imagine how ultra-cool you’d be if your entourage knew the plectrum goodness that touched your guitar hailed from the cold exciting depths of bizarrely stellar outerspace?

But not only that! The above picks are truly unique because (and I hope you’re sitting down for this) they possess Widmanstatten lines!  True, they’re not bonafide Regmaglypts, but hey, you can’t have everything you know.  :)

‘course, if you’d like to make your OWN Gibeon Meterorite guitar pick, you can find some material over at:

Enjoy!

There were also a guitar pick from Elvis’ New Year’s Eve show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 31, 1976 that went for a ridiculous $4,000!.

I play the guitar and i only use my nails just keep strumming with them the 1st few times it might hurt.. but your nails will harden, so just keep playing! Can’t afford to have such an expensive pick.  =’(

Well, considering how much I just spent on my Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, I don’t think I can afford the gold picks.
