Import NOW Liz Strauss Blog Showcase Feed List!

Morning all,

Ah, what a wonderful Sunday I have experienced!  First off, learned some superb BJJ techniques that took the word ‘intense’ to an entirely new level….

(scary as heck but wow, did I learn to control (kinda sorta) breathing, fear, etc…. I am truly blessed with excellent instructors.  Two thumbs up!)

and then I strolled back to my computer to see Liz had put up all the blog participants from her blog showcase!

Geek that I am, I couldn’t resist trying to make an OPML file so everyone can import all the blogs that were featured on Liz’ Blog Showcase!  And after clearing it with Liz, I decided to share it here on my blog.

Simply import the file

http://www.barbaraling.com/liz1.opml

into your feedreader, and enjoy!  A new folder will be created that is named

Liz Strauss Blog Showcase

and you’ll be able to see all the blogs that were showcased in alphabetical order.

Ain’t life grand?

Now, if you’re using Google reader, you want to click on the Manage Subscription link at the bottom of your page like so:

Manage subscriptions

 On the next page, click on Import/Export at the top located like so:

Google Reader 2

In the next screen, simply copy/paste the URL

http://www.barbaraling.com/liz1.opml

like so:

Google Reader 2

and click Upload.  You’ll see the new folder

    Ok. I can’t get the Google reader import to work. Google insists that I upload the file from my computer, (not copy and paste), so I tried to download the file and then reupload. I get an error message but it is so quick I can’t read it! OH NO! This is such a great idea. Any ideas for me to fix?

      Hi!

      Did you copy/paste the URL name (not the contents)? Remember, you don’t have to click the Browse button because you’re importing from the web, not your local drive. Drop me a line via my contact form and I’ll help you work it out.

    Wow — even alphabetized!  Very impressive, Barbara!  Thanks for doing this, and for the step-by-step on how to import it as well.  I wouldn’t have known how to do it otherwise.
