Making them beg to digg you, Broccoli bunnies, kids karate sparring and more

BroccoliBunnyMorning!

Just finished putting out the Easter bunny (The Broccoli Bunny is away on vacation, y’know) goodies and am doing me work.

Wrote some rather decent posts yesterday. I found out about the article ‘Why You’ve Got to Dig Digg to Get Dugg‘ ; as it’s written by one of my favorite authors online, I decided to highlight it by writing Make Them Beg To Digg You – 5 Killer Tips To Commanding Creative Diggs. The challenge there was trying to craft something that didn’t just say, hey, look at the post, but also delivered other great Digg resources too. Took me 1.2 hours to write it. And! I found a use for Twitter – I needed an Eliot Spitzer link, and Michael Gray had twittered one 8 minutes before I started writing. 🙂

Then I wrote Amicably pummel your children – they’ll thank you for compelling them to face their fears. This described in vivid detail me getting utterly decimated in Friday’s sparring to the point of crying on the inside (but not giving up!) and choosing to become stronger because of it. I used this example to segue into how one should always give the gift of self-confidence and self-defense to their kids.

RANT – What Twitter REALLY is missing Part 2 – images! was next. Over the next week or so, I’m going to list everything I find that is lacking in Twitter. There’s a method to my madness, of course.

And finally, I wrote Why you want to adore Digg at my Diet Fitness Blogger site. I’m still feeling my way around there.

Today is Easter! I spread out the chocolate and later on today, the husband and I will be taking the kids for a Chinese Buffet lunch. I learned 7 years ago that kids are woefully unappreciative when it comes to Mom spending 14 hours making a meal, so Mom now gladly lets restaurants do the cooking.

I have to finish up an SEO article, write for the Finding Ideas section, and do various other thingees as well. Hopefully today will be a nice quiet day.

Enjoy,

Barbara

ps – speaking of kids sparring, here’s what the gear looks like:
