A few days ago, I was talking with Honorable Daughter I during one of our beloved 2.4 agonizingly painful delightful circle walks, and she revealed to me what she believed would be utterly coolio beyond mere mortal description:
Flying in a lawn chair propelled only by balloons!
Imagine my surprise when I read the following article yesterday:
….Riding a green lawn chair supported by a rainbow array of more than 150 helium-filled party balloons, Kent Couch took off Saturday in a third bid to fly from central Oregon all the way to Idaho.
Couch kissed his wife and kids goodbye, and patted their shivering Chihuahua, Isabella, before his ground crew gave him a push so he could clear surrounding light poles and a coffee cart.
Then, clutching a big mug of coffee, Couch rose out of the parking lot of his gas station into the bright blue morning sky, cheered by a crowd of spectators….MORE
Is that beyond wild or what?
What a marvelous celebration of the human spirit! And it was a successful flight too, as you can read from:
Ore. man completes flight of fancy – in lawn chair
It made me think of my childhood dreams and what I had yearned to achieve as an adult. Haven’t yet raised a wolf, mind you, nor gone sky-diving yet (my venerable years, I confess, HAS given me an appreciation for the art of continued breathing)… but wow, the mere idea of living out your wildest dreams in vivid living color.
‘Tis quite appealing! (unless your balloons pop at a most undesirable time… 🙂 ).
What about you?
What dreams do you have that’s been living at the edge of your sub-conscious now for years and years….is it time to let them spy the light of day?
Share your ideas and let’s chat!
Enjoy,
