2011 – How to start thinking about New Years Eve the RIGHT Way

Morning!

It's a week before Christmas when all thru the house, tons of creatures were stirring because they wanted to know just how Santa can visit the 9 billion or so folks on this planet…within the span of 24 hours.

My kids have decided Santa must have a special time-space portal device which allows her to be in everywhere at the same instance.

Works for me!  But I digress.  :)

Here's a question for you – in 14 days, it's going to be New Years Eve.

And yours truly will try to stay up past (get this!) 9pm!

I'll fail dismally, mind you, but oh well, these things happen.

But back to me question – if it's 7 days before Christmas, it's 14 days before New Years, January 1st, 2011.

What plans have *you* made?

Sure, it would be peachy to thunk profoundly upon making money on New Years Eve.  Some ways you can do this is to:

NOTE!
Contact reception halls/restaurants and offer to be an extra pair of serving hands.

I actually did that meself when I was a teen – a group of us would serve at the local catering hall and wow, the tips people give when they're drunk!

'twas most fascinating indeed.  :)

NOTE!
Send a "Happy New Years Eve!" message service

Did you know you can schedule when emails get sent?

Think your average Joe and Jane know how to do this?

Think your average Joe and Jane will be at their computers at 11:59pm to send a Happy New Ear message to their friends?

Hmmm?

Schedule email in Gmail shows you how to do this, and alternatively, of course, you can always drop me a line and offer me $5 to do it for you!  :)

Speaking of $5, heck, you could head over to Fiverr.com and offer your services there.

And of course, there's the usual pet sitting and baby sitting and moose sitting ideas you can indulge in too.

If you do plan on such ideas, of course, you'll want to tailor my Max Your Holiday Profits book to your own particular idea.  It's definitely a very doable thing indeed.

So….back to the main topic of this post.

In 14 days, it will be 2011.  Are you ready?

Ask yourself:

  • 1.)  On what will I focus for the next 12 months?
  • 2.)  What will be the definitive indication of success for me?
  • 3.)  What areas do I want to grow in?
  • 4.)  In what areas am I willing to spend money to grow my business?

Hmmmmm?

It's something really on which to think!

Stay tuned for my own personal answer tomorrow…..

Enjoy!

Grow strong,

Barbara Ling

My kids have decided that all the guys who are dressing as Santa are helping him, that's how he can visit all the people on the planet at once. It works for me.
Actually I only have one thing I'm thinking about when it comes to New Years Eve, and it's not about making money or weight loss, or being kind or finally becoming a nice person. It's to finish my novel. I now understand that I should only have one thing on my mind (yes, I'm a guy), and if I only focus on one thing I'll make it (on time).

Best of skill with that, Jens!

I’m really looking forward to the nice quiet aspect of the holidays – methinks I’ve definitely earned it. :)

The year ahead will be just jam-packed with change and learning new things.  It’s kinda scary, but kinda exciting at the same time. But until the ball drops I’m focusing on tying up loose ends and getting some rest after the “Christmas Rush”.

Wow…, I just know you change ur blog design… now it looks much better… well.. I haven't plan what I'm going to do in 2011, although, I'm holding a wedding dinner on June at Thailand. I really have no ideal what to do, may be write something to sell on my blog, but still I do not know what I should write, it seems like all the answers can be found online nowadays…
Hmmm… is really hard…

Thanks for your kind words! And yes, all the answers can be found online…but the thing is, not everyone wants to exert the effort. Methinks creating infoproducts will never die out…
