Promise Yourself Today – Sexiness

Sometimes, our products are about as sexy to our customers as dried toenail fungus slathered on burnt toast.

The thing is, though, we still want them to *buy*!

Today, promise yourself that you'll take a long hard look at the benefits of what you're selling…and do your best to make it sexy (ie, really appealing) to your customers.

Focus on:

  • What problems your product solves.
  • How your product will make them feel better.
  • The benefits your product gives them.

Then start re-writing your copy from that perspective.

It should definitely increase your bottom line.

Grow strong,

  1. Good advice to copywriters! Another one would be, read your Marketing 101 course books over, and if you haven’t been to business school, consider enlisting. When I studied Marketing, I realized that everything we learned was subconscious logic brought to our conscious attention. Selling a product’s benefits sounds like the logical way to go; sadly, some Marketers still miss the bulls eye on many occasions, by getting distracted or side-tracked by some decorative gadget or feature that is just there for show. Not unlike search engine optimizing, copywriting is an art.
