Sunday sleepies, Netscape 1.0 and browsers, oh my!

Never underestimate the benefits of a good nights’ sleep!

Yesterday afternoon, the events of the prior days finally caught up with me and I was out like a light at 6pm. I had 11 blissful hours of almost non-interrupted sleep and awakened ready to dive into today’s adventures.

Today should be relatively quiet – I have several blog postings in queue and will be spending lots of time with the family as well.

It’s funny how one’s past can influence one’s present. Reading Check How Search Engines See Your Website brought back memories of Infoseek’s real time indexing (and how I was always able to achieve top 10 visibility for anything I desired. Wow, and that was back in 1996).

How the times have changed!! I’ve been building websites now ever since Netscape came out with Netscape Navigator 1.0… and still enjoy coding in straight html. Gosh, such memories.

It’s been a wild ride. :)

Time to make the donuts,

Barbara

ps – speaking about browsers:
